Attendee: Living vicariously again -- what did you have for dinner, Crystal?
CRYSTAL: Pasta pasta and more pasta.

CRYSTAL: I've lost a few brain cells since being preggers.
Attendee: Awww...
Attendee: It's called late pregnancy dysphasia.
CRYSTAL: It's true.
Attendee: But you're still feeling good, I hope.
CRYSTAL: I feel great.
CRYSTAL: What's been happening?
Attendee: So, when are we gonna see Josh/Olivia onscreen again... feels like forever with these basketball preemptions.
CRYSTAL: (I) don't know when I air.
Attendee: Crystal - do you still have a laptop or are you on a desktop now?
CRYSTAL: Desktop.
Attendee: Crystal, about Olivia.... is Josh gonna choose HER?
CRYSTAL: Josh is torn. You know, stuck between two women.
Attendee: Wankhead.
CRYSTAL: Sir Wankhead.
Attendee: Crystal did you read the book I gave you last October?
CRYSTAL: Haven't read anything without babies in it.
Attendee: But will he ditch that wedding ring sometime soon???
CRYSTAL: No he keeps the ring!
Attendee: What's the background for Olivia going to Marissa?
CRYSTAL: Liv visits her sick sister in SC.
Attendee: Does Olivia know the new doctor?
CRYSTAL: Liv knows the doc pretty well.
Attendee: Oooooo, another man in the picture.
Attendee: Does that mean the doc and Liv are past lovers?
CRYSTAL: They know how to push each others buttons, it's fun.
CRYSTAL: No, Liv seems to have a thing for her bosses.
Attendee: What's going on with Josh and Liv at the point when Liv leaves?
CRYSTAL: Josh asks Liv to move in, I think.
Attendee: Does that mean it hasn't (been) filmed yet?
CRYSTAL: No it hasn't taped yet.
Attendee: Any catfights between Liv & Reva? Or (are they) until after u come back? (that would be fun)
CRYSTAL: No, there are lots of moments between Liv and Reva.
Attendee: So, a lot posters refer to Liv as whiny, pathetic and desperate...how do you see her?
CRYSTAL: Liv is insecure, no doubt. She has a lot to learn.
Attendee: I like Olivia strong & feisty!
Attendee: This banter and button pushing w/ the doc...will it lead to a stronger Liv?
CRYSTAL: She is strong. She'll end up fighting for what she wants.
CRYSTAL: She's always doing things for what she thinks are the right reasons.
CRYSTAL: Any woman who feels she needs a man so desperately is whiny, pathetic, etc. but not necessarily bad.
CRYSTAL: After maternity leave Liv will be back in fighting form. She believes she does everything out of love.
Attendee: Have they given you any idea of what you'll be doing after you get back?... during the summer?
Attendee: Can you give us any kind of a story breakdown?
CRYSTAL: She thinks she loves Josh. She'll fight for him. She's going to be complex. Not all good , not all bad. I like it.
Attendee: Does Olivia get to hit someone with her purse again?
CRYSTAL: lol
Attendee: So when Liv leaves to go visit Marissa will she and Josh be living together?
Attendee: SOD (Soap Opera Digest) says they're already living together.
CRYSTAL: Nope, SOD is wrong.
Attendee: Why all these last minute story changes with Josh/Olivia?
Attendee: And what happens to all their connecting scenes? Cuts all over the place.
CRYSTAL: They do cut down scenes sometimes.
Attendee: Crystal, were the scenes changed where Marah taped the conversation? The magazines said she played the tape for Josh, but she didn't.
CRYSTAL: No, Marah never played the tape.
Attendee: Is Liv going to get any other connections with cast as friends or any other relatives??
CRYSTAL: Her brother is coming to town.
Attendee: Oh good... the "bad" one, right?
CRYSTAL: Yeah, he's a wildcat.
Attendee: How old will he be?
CRYSTAL: He'll be in his mid-twenties.
Attendee: Ooh, can we get Michael (Sabatino) as the brother?
Attendee: ...you just want to see Michael, don't you?
CRYSTAL: lol
Attendee: Does little Brother spell trouble for Marah?
CRYSTAL: Brother and Marah may be trouble.
Attendee: Ok, is he someone we know, Crystal?
CRYSTAL: He hasn't been cast yet.
CRYSTAL: She is also friends with Claire Ramsey.
CRYSTAL: Liv is friends with Claire.
Attendee: Who is Claire?
CRYSTAL: Claire is Michelle's biological mother.
Attendee: How did they know each other? So, that's a tie to Rick/Michelle, right?
CRYSTAL: What else...a cruise four years ago.
Attendee: I loved that picture in SOW (Soap Opera Weekly), BTW.
CRYSTAL: Thanks. SOW has been great to me.
Attendee: Yes, that picture was great...when was it taken, btw?
CRYSTAL: Last summer, I think.
Attendee: Crystal -- is Josh going to get jealous anytime soon?
CRYSTAL: Josh gets jealous because Reva is hanging around Noah.
Attendee: Geesh...we meant JEALOUS about Liv and someone else!
CRYSTAL: Nope, I'm the "antagonist".
Attendee: Is ANYTHING going to happen to force Josh to CHOOSE?
CRYSTAL: I don't know. Josh needs to pick a lane.
Attendee: You are Waffle Fodder.
CRYSTAL: Waffle fodder?
Attendee: You are there to cause Josh's waffling.
Attendee: Waffly Wankhead
CRYSTAL: Yes!
CRYSTAL: Waf and Wank.
Attendee: Crystal, do you guys have a lot of fun on the set? You & Kim & Robert?
CRYSTAL: Well, I love working with those two. We laugh a lot. Kim and I think we should have those "grrrr" sounds like on Ally McBeal.
CRYSTAL: I'd love to work with Alan or Rick.
Attendee: So Josh continues to waffle... but what will Liv do?
CRYSTAL: She'll get a clue and do whatever, I don't know (what), to reel him back in.
Attendee: It seems to me TPTB are undecided between Jolivia and Jeva.
CRYSTAL: I think it's Josh and Reva with Liv trying to get his love, oh well. But maybe it'll be fun.
Attendee: Right...but will she maintain some self-respect?
CRYSTAL: No, eventually Josh and Reva will get back together. Then Liv can jump into Alan's bed.
Attendee: LOL Crystal! You want Alan... I knew it.
CRYSTAL: I love RR. We were in the same scene the other day and didn't say a word (to each other).
CRYSTAL: I think Josh and Reva are great together and it's fun to have Liv going after him. She'll find true love one day.
Attendee: But not with Josh right?
CRYSTAL: I don't know with who, (but) probably not with Josh. She needs her (own) "always".
CRYSTAL: I don't think it'll happen soon. It's a long story. (But), I don't know the long term, ha.
Attendee: Yeah, they don't let you know stuff too far in advance, do they?
CRYSTAL: They tell me she's insecure but I'm trying to keep her smart and fighting.
CRYSTAL: She'll eventually become stronger, but she is the antagonist.
Attendee: But she won't become an Annie will she?
CRYSTAL: She's hung up on men. A real father issue. Her dad died (when she was) 13. She's a control freak. Doesn't trust love so she tries to control things.
Attendee: Crystal, how does Liv know Noah?
CRYSTAL: Noah is Rich's friend. Or Rick's.
Attendee: How much leeway are you given for your interpretation (in a scene)?
CRYSTAL: Not much leeway.
Attendee: And still pretty much a one-take thing when you're taping?
CRYSTAL: Yeah, one take.
Attendee: Well, I love the way they do your hair, Crystal, or do you do it yourself?
CRYSTAL: I put my hair in a ponytail, that's it.
Attendee: Is it true that Kim's new storyline is about change of life?? And will Liv be involved in it at all?
CRYSTAL: Yep, Liv will be involved down the line.
CRYSTAL: Liv's real love story won't start for maybe another year.
Attendee: But they say she'll have one??????
CRYSTAL: They want her to be around for a long while.
Attendee: WE LIKE THAT!
CRYSTAL: She's a different character for me, it's strange to not play the heroine.
Attendee: I guess, but I bet it's fun too.
CRYSTAL: It's fun, but I'm afraid that people will confuse me for Liv and throw fruit.
Attendee: Do you have a guarantee for a certain amount of days per week? And if you're not on, do you still get a paycheck?
CRYSTAL: Yes a certain amount per week. I get paid per show.
Attendee: At what point can a soap opera actor call in sick?
CRYSTAL: When they're giving birth.
Attendee: LOL Crystal!
Attendee: So, Olivia is still a work in progress? Is that what you're saying?
CRYSTAL: Liv is definitely a work in progress. I've had many meetings to ask questions.
Attendee: And do they ever give you answers at those meetings? Do you get to give input?
CRYSTAL: I give input but they have a story.
Attendee: It must be getting trickier and trickier to not show your tummy these days, huh?!
CRYSTAL: It's easy for me, hard for the directors.
Attendee: Crystal, are TPTB listening to what (the audience) want, too?
CRYSTAL: They do listen, but they have a lot of people to answer to.
Attendee: It must be so frustrating a lot of the time.
CRYSTAL: I was brought in to cause trouble for Josh and Reva, but they want to keep her human and give her some place to go afterwards.
Attendee: Crystal - does it bother you when your character loses fan support?
CRYSTAL: Sure it bothers me, but I don't expect people to like Olivia, she's breaking up a popular couple.
Attendee: I totally sympathize with the Jova fans -- and I'm sure they'll be happy after this chat.
CRYSTAL: Yes, they want their couple together, understandable. It's a soap, I just want it to be fun.
Attendee: Good... so she won't be irredeemable, we can assume, no matter what she does, right?
CRYSTAL: Yes redeemable.
Attendee: There's a daggone lot of Chemistry with Robert, though.
CRYSTAL: Robert is fun to work with.
Attendee: Crystal -- do you know who Olivia's "real" love is??
CRYSTAL: Maybe he's not in SF yet.
Attendee: They have so much room to go with Olivia, and she has a good foundation...I think fun will always be in the formula.
CRYSTAL: Concentrate on having fun. There is hope for a love in Liv's future. I want her to have the real thing, and not be afraid of letting someone love her.
Attendee: and what about her business acumen...we gonna see any more of that?
CRYSTAL: Liv is good at business. We'll see that.
Attendee: Wonder if Liv will be a "gitch" about it with Josh or (if) he'll be the bad breaker-upper.
CRYSTAL: She's one of those gals that drive me crazy because I want her to let it be whatever it's going to be. She probably has panic attacks at the thought of being alone. She lost her daddy young and doesn't want to lose someone else.
Attendee: Is her mom still alive? And might we meet her sometime?
CRYSTAL: I don't know if her mom's alive. But I'd guess she blames her mom for her dads death. She was a kid (when) her parents (got) divorced. (She was a) daddy's girl.
Attendee: Crystal, you don't know for sure when Josh & Liv break up, right?
CRYSTAL: I'm just saying that of course Josh and Reva will reunite, but not for awhile.
Attendee: When Olivia is gone, is that when Josh & Reva start to reunite?
CRYSTAL: Josh slips away from Liv a bit, but a reunion is a long way off.
Attendee: So if Josh & Olivia are going to be no longer...are we predicting who she should be with?
CRYSTAL: She equates sex with love. Know anyone like that?

Attendee: Is Marissa's illness serious?
CRYSTAL: Marissa is really ill. I need six weeks off.
Attendee: Crystal -- what's with this "buddy" stuff between Olivia and Josh's Kids?
CRYSTAL: She likes his kids. Wants them to like her. She makes them lunch.
Attendee: Does she bake them grouper almondine?
CRYSTAL: Corned beef.
Attendee: Did you ask that Liv would be a gourmet because you love to be in the kitchen so much yourself?? vbg
CRYSTAL: Yes, I love the kitchen!

Attendee: Are you going to pre-tape anything before you go so that we'd see you having a phone call with Josh or anything while you're off?
CRYSTAL: I don't know if I'll pre-tape.
Attendee: Reva is going back to school.
CRYSTAL: Yes, Reva goes to college.
Attendee: Crystal, do you like our feedback on what we'd like to see in Olivia?
CRYSTAL: Yes, I love feedback, preferably without personal insult.
Attendee: I'm sorry to ask again...how far in advance does GL tape before they are...on average?
CRYSTAL: We are a month ahead.
Attendee: And is there anything you want to ask all of US?
CRYSTAL: Who do you see Liv with?

Attendee: I wonder if Michael has that leather jacket (Lawrence) trailed Carly and Isabella through the mountains in?

CRYSTAL: He did take his clothes.
Attendee: But didn't you guys hawk those clothes you took on the street when you moved back to L.A. the last time? vbg
CRYSTAL: Gave most away to family.
Attendee: Why doesn't Liv try to get friendly with Shayne?
CRYSTAL: She does sway Shayne.
Attendee: Is Marah still causing friction?
CRYSTAL: Marah continues to work her magic.
Attendee: Crystal -- will Marah and Liv be friends again?
CRYSTAL: Maybe Marah will like nameless brother.
Attendee: I figured -- but whoa -- mid twenties and 17?
CRYSTAL: Maybe early 20s, what do I know?
Attendee: And when will we see him? When you come back in the summer?
CRYSTAL: I would guess this summer.
Attendee: I wonder if he will have a tan.
CRYSTAL: Or an accent?
Attendee: And be 7 feet tall?
CRYSTAL: No, 6 feet or under.
Attendee: Don't forget, Crystal... chest hair... tell them we want chest hair (when they cast).
Attendee: But not TOO much chest hair.
CRYSTAL: Y'all and your hair.
Attendee: Crystal, do you like being on GL a lot? How is it different than DOOL or OLTL set?
CRYSTAL: I love GL. It's a good show.
Attendee: Crystal, it certainly seems like GL has a lot of extremely talented actors.
CRYSTAL: I think it's a great cast. We all work really hard.
Attendee: Marah is a brat to Olivia but that's her job. Marah is good at being bad.
CRYSTAL: Laura is terrific
Attendee: Crystal--Is Claire going to be sticking around Springfield for awhile?
CRYSTAL: I don't know much about Claire.
Attendee: Crystal--How was the morale when GL got shut out of the Emmy nominations?
CRYSTAL: Low, but people are gearing up for next year. We're fighters.
Attendee: GL seems like more natural dialogue than other shows.
CRYSTAL: It is more naturalistic, I like that.
Attendee: And GL doesn't do too much characters talking to themselves in an empty room (my pet peeve #1).
CRYSTAL: I hate talking to myself.
Attendee: Will she (Olivia) still work for Josh down the road?
CRYSTAL: She continues to work for Josh.
Attendee: Crystal--Are they ever going to work in an office?
CRYSTAL: Yes. They lease an office space.
Attendee: Without a bed.
CRYSTAL: lol
Attendee: Matt and Vanessa don't have a bedroom/Josh and Olivia have no office.
CRYSTAL: The business takes off.
Attendee: Does Josh chase Olivia around his desk?
CRYSTAL: Hahaha.
Attendee: Will Olivia continue to live in the boarding house? CRYSTAL: Liv is living above a bar for awhile, I guess.
Attendee: Crystal--Do you have any scenes with Billy coming up?
CRYSTAL: I would love to have scenes with Billy where is he?
Attendee: I want to know where in the world she keeps that whole wardrobe in that tiny room...don't even see a closet in there!
CRYSTAL: Exactly.
Attendee: Isn't Billy in a basement with all the missing children?
CRYSTAL: lol
CRYSTAL: She's rented another room just for her clothes.
Attendee: The boarding house isn't that expensive I bet she could afford that.
Attendee: No closet means having to constantly go shopping... I see nothing wrong with that.
Attendee: Soap characters don't do laundry.
CRYSTAL: We don't. Nor do we clean, or do hair.
Attendee: LOL.
Attendee: And you always look so perfect.
CRYSTAL: People get paid big bucks to make us look good.
Attendee: Billy is on the roof with the missing Coopers.
Attendee: Ah yeah... Frank DOES have a family, doesn't he?
CRYSTAL: Yes, where is Frank?
Attendee: Do you know what's ahead for Richard and Cassie? I'm sorry I just had to ask, huge fan.
CRYSTAL: There's a big wedding.
Attendee: I think Olivia needs to get a kitty cat.

Attendee: Crystal, I must say, you look GREAT for such a preggo one!

Attendee: Crystal--Do they have a separate wardrobe for the all the preggers or do you have to wear your own?
CRYSTAL: They buy the clothes.
Attendee: Crystal you do look great for someone who is 8 months pregnant.

CRYSTAL: She may be. Cassie's past is revealed in SC.
Attendee: Olivia isn't jealous over Richard & Cassie?
Attendee: She's over Richard.
CRYSTAL: She must have Velcro on her. She bounced off of Rich and onto Josh.
CRYSTAL: None of the women like Liv. Selena and Blake both give it to her. It's fun to do those catty scenes.
Attendee: When does Blake give it to Liv and why? There is no reason...
CRYSTAL: Wedding in SC.
Attendee: When and why? B/c they like Reva?
CRYSTAL: Yeah, they are friends.
Attendee: Blake is friend of Cassie's not Reva.
CRYSTAL: Well, Blake believes in true love.
Attendee: So Liv gets dumped on by everybody at the wedding?
CRYSTAL : I don't know if she goes to the wedding.
Attendee: Speaking of soap friends, what happened to Liv and Harley?
CRYSTAL: Harley seems like she'd listen to Liv.
Attendee: At this rate, Harley will dump on Liv too.
Attendee: It seemed like Liv didn't like Harley because Cassie was her friend.
CRYSTAL: I think Liv liked Harley.
Attendee: What about Abby?
Attendee: Abby is leaving.
CRYSTAL: I know. Amy is a beautiful soul. She will be missed.
Attendee: Aww... is Rick/ Mike leaving too?
CRYSTAL: Michael O. is staying as far as I know.
Attendee: Crystal, last time we chatted, you were on your way to a photo shoot the next day...what magazine was that for? (If it was a magazine)

Attendee: SID really seems to like you!
CRYSTAL: They've been great. I have a Fit Pregnancy article, I think, in June
Attendee: Pictures with that?
CRYSTAL: Yes, pictures.
Attendee: Crystal -- is Fit Pregnancy a cover?
CRYSTAL: Inside article.
Attendee: Olivia is becoming the new Blake... no female friends... the one everyone hates... I wonder why that is?
CRYSTAL: Blake is kind of good now so they need a replacement.
Attendee: I don't like it - Liv needs more people on her side.
Attendee: Liv then needs to get male friends... that's why she need Frank.
Attendee: If not a friend than at least a good enemy (ala Viki and Dorian (OLTL)).
CRYSTAL: I think ultimately that's what they want Viki /Dorian.
Attendee: Hmmm... Viki/Dorian thing might not be too bad. It worked for OLTL for 20 years.
CRYSTAL: I like that Olivia is kind of messed up. She has a good heart and she will fight to the end.
Attendee: That's my feisty Liv!
CRYSTAL: It's great for me as an actor.
Attendee: I like that the character doesn't - at this point - lay down and die.
Attendee: I hope she doesn't end up committing suicide that'd be sad :)
Attendee: She isn't suicidal...that was a writers' misstep, wasn't it?
CRYSTAL: No more suicide. I don't know where the suicide came from.
Attendee: They wanted something for the Sweeps period.
CRYSTAL: Maybe they wanted to establish her deep insecurities.
Attendee: I'm sure it's great fun to be suicidal, though.
CRYSTAL: Great fun.
Attendee: Is working with Kim fun?
CRYSTAL: Kim is hilarious.
Attendee: Does Olivia put mustard on the corned beef?
CRYSTAL: Yes mustard!
Attendee: If Olivia is supposed to be slightly insecure, and needs a friend what about the missing Holly..
CRYSTAL: Holly, there's an idea.
Attendee: Crystal I like the idea that Liv is strong and not a wimp like Maggie (OLTL) was.
CRYSTAL: I'm keeping her as strong as I can.
Attendee: I can see how not pigeon holing a character is good for an actor.
CRYSTAL: They like to have characters they can do anything with.
Attendee: I think characters need to be defined to a certain extent though, otherwise the audience really can't identify with them. CRYSTAL: Definition is good. I think things will become more clear when I get back.
Attendee: Good, because right now Olivia is a plot device. They're probably afraid to do much of anything right now with you leaving soon for the baby, huh?
CRYSTAL: They are waiting 'til I come back, yes.
Attendee: Right, Liv is a plot device, not a character they are writing a plot for, at the moment.
CRYSTAL: Lots of antagonists are. Takes longer to define.
Attendee: I miss characters being funny... and laughing.
Attendee: Well, I think Olivia fits that bill, don't you?
CRYSTAL: Yep.
Attendee: That's why that drunken proposal day was such fun.
CRYSTAL: Love doing comedy. RN was great.
Attendee: It's hard to get used to you as non-heroine...
CRYSTAL: It's hard for me too.
Attendee: But it's sort of what you wanted, right? Something different than you'd played before?? But not really a villainess...
CRYSTAL: Does it matter that she thinks she doing things out of love?
Attendee: I think that kind of motivation makes all the difference.
Attendee: It makes her sympathetic.
CRYSTAL: They don't want to make her too dark, hence the insecurities.
CRYSTAL: Yeah, she's not out to destroy.
Attendee: If she was just doing it to be mean it would be different.
Attendee: People can empathize with that.
CRYSTAL: Weelllll, talk to the writers.
Attendee: Will you and Cassie be doing any scenes before you go on leave?
CRYSTAL: I don't think Cassie and Liv will see each other. For a while.
Attendee: I think a Liv and Cassie cat fight would be the best... kinda like a Reva and Liv cat fight.
CRYSTAL: I love cat fights. No hair pulling, though.
Attendee: When doesOlivia go away?
CRYSTAL: I go on maternity leave (at the) end of April.
Attendee: Are you getting antsy about wanting the end of April/May to get here now?
CRYSTAL: Yes, I'm ready, he's not.
Attendee: Will the little boy who played Jon be coming to visit his Aunt Liv before you go?
CRYSTAL: No, I'll go to him.
Attendee: Will Liv and Reva ever be friends because I like them both?
CRYSTAL: I think Liv really cares about Reva. She is just so angry with her.
Attendee: I bet Olivia & Reva would be best friends if circumstances were different.
CRYSTAL: Yeah, I think Liv wishes things were different but they're not. It's a love/hate thing.
Attendee: It certainly sounds that there is a lot for the writers to work with. I hope that they take advantage.
CRYSTAL: I do too. I hope the writers do good things with the Reva/Liv relationship.
Attendee: Crystal, does Olivia have any hobbies? Besides cooking?
Attendee: Knitting? Kick-boxing?
Attendee: Olivia likes music.
CRYSTAL: Sleeping with her bosses, ummmm...
