Crystal Chappell and the creators of the highly anticipated web series Venice unveiled a teaser for the show Monday night and announced the series will premiere December 4. Chappell created the series when it was announced CBS would be canceling Guiding Light, the long-running daytime drama on which she starred as Olivia Spencer, one half of lesbian supercouple Otalia.

Following tonight's sneak peek, an official launch date for the show will be announced.

Vanishing VENICE?

According to VENICE Hope Royaltey, the VENICE teaser video which debuted last night has been removed because it was flagged as "Spam." The video was has been a phenomenal success on YouTube, and apparently was the #4 most popular Entertainment video before it was classified as spam. Fortunately, VENICE fans can still see it here on WLS.

What do you think? Was this spamming a misunderstanding, or an act of aggression against our beautiful beach heroines?

Meanwhile, the VENICE theme song, "Venice Beach," has been played over 4000 times on Myspace today, and sales are "through the roof" on iTunes, Amazon and Bandbox per singer Jen Foster.

Am I the only one who does not have the teaser or the behind the scenes video for episode 2 on the Venice website...?
I know it was supposed to be up on the 11th...

I got the teaser on you tube, but I thought we were supposed to have the teaser and behind the scenes for episide 2 on the Venice website...I guess I misunderstood...Thanks...

I think they didn't put it on the Venice site is because Hope R is still working on improving the site so we don't crash it this Friday. I think there's still some issues with subscribers, so they need to iron that out as well. Poor Hope. She's doing one heck of a job!

VENICE aired a new episode, its third, today. This was the longest one so far, over eight minutes, and focused on Crystal Chappell's Gina's relationships with Owen, Alan and Tracy. Michael Sabatino and Lesli Kay made their VENICE debuts as Alan and Tracy. The show has worked out its technical issues and fans were able to access the episode without any major issues.

I loved, loved, loved the 3rd episode! CC really shined in this episode. I love her with GG. The two of them are so great together and friggin' hilarious!!! I am very impressed with all of the actors/actresses in the 3rd episode. CC ofcourse stole the show! Honestly, she is the best actress on this planet!!! My favourite episode so far because there was a lot more acting on this episode than the first 2 and ofcourse a lot more Gina! Looking forward to Episode 4!!!

Thought all the eps were amazing, but ep 3 was fantastic!!
I'm fully obsessed!! Can't wait for more!!

I love Venice!!! Seriously. I loved The Guild. But this is like...an even greater love.
