@rje53 and I plan to go. Looking forward to it. Have never been to one of these events. Last time I saw Crystal was in Peapack, NJ, on August 6 of last year when she and Jessica Leccia and many others were filming one of the very last Guiding Light scenes. One of the most memorable days ever.

I will be attending with my friend Lori, neither of us have ever been to one of these events, so excited to finally meet CC!! [smilie=hail.gif]

By the way... if you're old like me, haha (er, over 50), you can get rooms at the hotel for this event for $89/night with AARP, cheaper than the Days rate. Just call the Sheraton reservations. (I couldn't make this low price come up online.)

I'm not sure if I'll be there in time for the Q/A part but I have a ticket for it and I have one for the autograph session too. Do they send the tickets? I was hoping I'd have at least the autograph one by now. I ordered them, last week. But I ordered the Q/A thing a couple of days later.

Hoping to meet everyone. Just keep in mind I'm really shy though and partially deaf as well. [smilie=01party.gif]

This weekend was really a good time.
This was the first DCE Event I've attended & they do a very good job. I can't say enough about how much time all the actors gave the fans. It was non-stop for them. Crystal looked fantastic. I will try to post again but my flight is boarding.

This was my first DOOL Charity Event and first time meeting any of the cast. I just wanted to say that Crystal was so friendly/fun. You can tell she really cares about her fans and as a longtime DOOL fan it was an honor to meet her!

This event was last weekend, but it is still something I'm thinking about. Had such a wonderful time. All the actors were awesome, they must have been exhausted when it was over, I know I was and I didn't stay until the end of the cocktail party.
Crystal was so welcoming and really tried to connect with you for the brief time you had with her. During the meet and greet, the lines were really LONG... but she didn't make you feel rushed. She wanted to talk with everyone, that wanted to talk to her. It was my first time going to a DAYS event, but won't be my last. I did go to a Guiding Light event once, and it was equally fun. Crystal was not at that event, so of course it wasn't as good.... just kidding it was as good, just different.

I just have to say that this event was the first time I ever met Crystal, & she has to be one of the nicest & most generous people I've ever met. It took me 22 hours on the train to get there, but it was very, very worth the trip. I thought the whole Days Charity Event was great fun (a little disorganized perhaps but wonderfully enjoyable). All the actors were very friendly & nice to all of us attendees, but Crystal was the highlight of the whole event. And it was a very worthwhile charity too: Juvenile Diabetes...since I'm a doctor myself, I can vouch for this disease needing all the help it can get. I'd go again in a heartbeat (anytime on the East Coast, anyway).
